Vessel Manager

The BOT business model includes technical and operational activities to be provided through a third-party US flag Jones Act Compliant ship manager under a vessel management agreement with SEACOR Marine.  This strategic approach provides BOT with the operational flexibility to manage rapid fleet growth effectively without sacrificing operational quality and reliability or a competitive cost structure.  It also reduces execution risk by providing the ability to secure ship management services through an experienced and qualified operator.

SEACOR Marine will be employed under a ship management contract to technically and operationally manage the BOT CTVs on charter to clients.  They will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the vessels to, in and from the wind fields, all crewing activities, planned maintenance, unplanned repairs, and shoreside support.

QHSE compliance and assurance for the technical and operating activities during the charter will be based on the policies, procedures, guidelines and certificates of SEACOR Marine as operators of the BOT vessels.  BOT will oversee these efforts and be accountable for them through our quality assurance framework which ties the contractual commitments of our charter parties with our clients with our vessel management agreement with the vessel manager through comprehensive work processes, communications protocols and documentation.
